IUB BS Programs — How to Apply 2026
Applying for IUB BS programs is a fully online process through the IUB admissions portal. Here is the step-by-step process — including the steps most students miss.
| Step | Action | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Check program availability at iub.edu.pk | Confirm your program is offered in current semester |
| 2 | Register on IUB admissions portal | Use permanent email — all communications come here |
| 3 | Fill online application — select program carefully | Wrong program selection = rejected, no refund |
| 4 | Generate and pay admission fee challan | Pay at designated bank — specified in advertisement |
| 5 | Upload all required documents | Matric + Inter certificates, CNIC, domicile, photos, character certificate |
| 6 | Submit before last date | IUB can issue a second advertisement with a new last date (Fall 2026’s second advert gave 10 September 2026) — but do not rely on it |
| 7 | Check merit list at iub.edu.pk | Merit lists are published on the IUB website / myIUB portal after the last date |
| 8 | Pay semester fee within merit list deadline | Pay by the date printed with the merit list — a missed deadline can cost you the seat |
Fall 2026 admissions opened in June 2026 and are now closed. Spring 2027 admissions are expected around December–January, based on IUB’s Spring 2026 campaign; the official Spring 2027 advertisement had not been published on 30 October 2026. For full admission details including required documents and last date, see IUB Fall Admission 2026 and IUB Spring Admission 2026.
Takeaway: Apply online at IUB admissions portal. Wrong program = no refund. Check merit lists on the IUB website and pay the fee by the date given with the list — missing it can mean losing the seat.
