Hostels at IUB Rahim Yar Khan Campus

IUB says it has sixteen hostels for about 10,000 students across its campuses. At Rahim Yar Khan Campus there are two:

IUB’s hostel page says its hostels are run by Hall Council chairpersons (male and female), a Chief Warden and wardens. It lists cafeterias, dining halls, common rooms, computer labs, reading rooms, mosques, gyms and laundry rooms as hostel facilities, but it does not say which facilities each RYK hostel has, how many seats there are or what the hostel fee is. Ask the campus before you rely on a hostel seat. Source: IUB Residential and Hostel Facilities.

Transport

IUB says its transport fleet is one of the largest owned by any educational institution in Pakistan. The towns named on its transport page (Ahmedpur, Khairpur Tamewali, Khanqah Sharif, Lal Sohanra, Lodhran and Yazman) are Bahawalpur-side routes. The page does not list Rahim Yar Khan routes, so ask the campus transport office whether a bus serves your area. Source: IUB University Transport.

Campus head

The Director’s message on the RYK campus website is signed by Prof. Dr. Ghulam Hassan Abbasi, Professor / Director (RYK Campus). The main IUB website’s campus page still lists Dr. Muhammad Sohail Sharif, and the campus website reported a recent change of charge — so check the campus website for the current Director.
