IUB Semester Rules

As a new student at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, there are a few things you should know about the IUB Semester Rules. Attendance is mandatory for all classes unless otherwise excused by the instructor. Excessive absences can lead to a loss of credit and may affect your grade. Unexcused absences will result in a deduction of points from your participation grade for the course. You are also responsible for any work that is due regardless of whether or not you are in attendance.

What are the IUB semester rules?

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur campus has a four-semester academic calendar, which is made up of the Fall, Spring, Summer I, and Summer II semesters. The Fall and Spring semesters are each 16 weeks long, while the Summer terms are both 8 weeks long. To facilitate commencement ceremonies in May and December, there is a one-week break at the end of the Fall and Spring semesters. There are no classes held during breaks ( Thanksgiving break, winter break, etc.),

 

When do the IUB semester rules go into effect?
