If you’re looking to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, here’s what you need to know about the Indiana University Bloomington DVM admission process for the 2024 school year.

The first step is to take the Veterinary College Admission Test (VCAS). You can register for the VCAS online at the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) website. The cost of the VCAS is $210, and you will need to have your official transcripts sent to the AAVMC as well.

Once you have taken the VCAS, you will need to submit your application to the IUB School of Veterinary Medicine through the centralized application service VMCAS. The application fee is $105, and you will need to submit your official transcripts, as well as three letters of recommendation.

IUB DVM Admission requirements:

– Ph.D. in Animal Breeding/ Reproduction/ Physiology/ Biochemistry/ Nutrition/ Pharmacology/ Pathology/ Microbiology/ Immunology/ Veterinary Surgery/ Veterinary Medicine from a recognized university.

– A minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in all examinations leading to the degree.

– 3 years of professional experience in relevant field.
